High quality audio amplifier for headphones
The G5 is not just a 120 dB 24 bit or 192 kHz USB DAC. With a Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 helmet amplifier with a low output impedance of 2.2 Ω, the G5 is capable of boosting headphones up to 600 Ω impedance as well as sensitive internal headphones of the current market. This pocket-sized external gaming sound card also supports high resolution audio reproduction of up to 24 bits / 192 kHz, thanks to its Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC, which has a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB.
Integrated SB-Axx1 audio processor
The dedicated SBX profile selection button and G5 Scout Mode ™ buttons work with the SB-Axx1 multicore processor for instant hardware accelerated audio enhancements. Get the correct settings and save time with storage of up to three audio profiles on the G5. All it requires is a button, along with toggle controls to move from one profile to another to adapt to the nature of your game.

The G5 supports helmets with a microphone with 4-pin connection, in addition to the dedicated microphone jack.
